    Marmore waterfall is the highest waterfall in Europe. It is only 5 minutes far from our farmhouse. Marmore waterfall together with Piediluco lake were the ideal place where the actress Brigitte Bardot used to spend her summer holidays.

    "So Convenient to the Falls!"

    We rented this apartment for one night in early October. Its location is ideal for visiting the falls at Marmore (it is at most a 5 minute drive to the lower entrance), which are spectacular, and even more at night when they are illuminated. The apartment itself was large and clean, and the small kitchen had all of the appliances and utensils needed to cook meals.

    Gina is the most incredible hostess. Casa Mattei gives a real glimpse of the heart of Italy, the nature , the quaint Italy, the easy life.
